Chapter 2- The Demon’s Son

Time seemed like it passed by so fast for Kisha Sterling. She had been living in Riverview for 3 months now and in that time she had not had any more contact with Luxor, but she always felt his presents. Anytime she would start to think the whole situation was a dream the pain would return to her arm.

One day while Kisha was painting her stomach started bothering her. The nausea soon vanished just as quickly as it started.
For days this went on and Kisha fought it back till she could handle it no more. It made no sense to her why this would be happening to her. She had not eaten anything spoiled so it could not be food poison. Kisha was baffled.
A month after the nausea started the baby bump appeared and she knew she was caring the demon, Luxor, child. This scared her greatly. Kisha was not ready to be a mother especially to a child that could turn out evil like the father.
For the next few months Kisha spent a lot of time reading up on her pregnancy and demons. She learned many things about both subjects, but nothing seemed to easy her mind.
Kisha was in her 9th month of pregnancy when Luxor returned.

“What are you doing here?” Kisha asked Luxor as she stood her ground. She had never been a tough person but she wanted to make her anger show as he had caused her to become pregnant with a child she greatly feared.
Luxor looked her up and down a smile lay on his black lips as he noticed her enormous belly. “I have come to check on my child and it’s mother.” He stepped towards her with an out stretched hand. Kisha backed away causing Luxor to laugh.
“Don’t touch me.” Kisha shouted as she felt a hard kick coming from her unborn child.

“You cannot keep me from my child you ungrateful little girl!” Luxor shouted in a fit of anger his voice echoing loudly.

Kisha dropped to her knees as the pain in her arm surged through her body and her child started kicking. Her pain pleased Luxor as he stood there with a wicked look on his face.
The pain lasted mere minutes before subsiding allowing Kisha to get off the ground. After standing she tried to run out the room, but Luxor was too quick and grabbed her by the wrists. He held her wrists tightly as the paralyzation set in again.

“Silly girl you cannot escape from me so easily. You are mine till you complete my challenge.” Luxor said in a soothing voice as he looked into her scared blue eyes. “I can make all this go away if you agree to be my wife.”
As Luxor leaned in to kiss her, Kisha regained her strength and pulled out of his grasps. Her ability shocked him, he had never met anyone that could break from his powers.

“I will not marry you! I would rather have all the 100 babies than be yours!” Kisha shouted at him. “I will never be yours! I want nothing to do with you get out of my house! Get out of my life!”

Luxor grew angry and stepped towards her again and Kish stood her ground.
Luxor raised his hand and slapped Kisha. Tears welled up in her eyes as her strength disappeared. She looked at him and placed a hand on her throbbing cheek.

“Don’t cross my little girl, I will make you regret it.” Luxor said sternly as he reached out to her again and placed his hand on her stomach. At Luxor’s touch their child started kicking.

“That’s my boy.” Luxor said to Kisha’s stomach. “You will be here soon young prince Lucian.” He rubbed her stomach smiling. “You will be here soon.”
Luxor stood up and looked into Kisha’s eyes. “I will return when our son is grown. You take care of the young prince, I will be watching.”

With those finally words Kisha stood alone in her living room her right arm burning.
Kisha placed her hand on her stomach as she sighed. She now feared her child even more. How was she going to take care of him if he was as strong as his father? Kisha shook her head trying to dash the fear from her mind. She knew the only way to clear her head was to paint.

She headed upstairs and pulled out a new canvas and began painting to clear her mind.
She had barely placed the brush to the paper when a pain shot threw her. It was not the usual pain she felt but a pain deep down in her stomach. Kisha grabbed her stomach and let out a yell as the pain continued. Just as quick as it started the pain was over and she became the mother to a beautiful baby boy who she named Lucian.
Lucian (Soothing) Artistic, Grumpy

All Kisha’s fears were washed away when she say her son’s face. Her greatest fear had not come true, he looked human as he had not inherited his father’s red skin.

She brought the young Lucian to her face and kissed his cheek. “My Lucian”
